Excellent return on investment, spacious and well equipped rooms, very kind service. Breakfast most welcome but presentation, acess and cleanliness of dining area could be greatly improved. Love that it's nearby Nats baseball park
There is plenty of space in the room and might still get crowded if you use the sofa bed.
The laundry room has enough machines for my stay. The machines do take credit card.
I like that this Residence Inn has a normal couch rather than the armless couches at other locations.
Great location, comfortable rooms, great staff. Parking is expensive but this is DC. Metro is nearby. That's the better transportation alternative.
The kitchen includes soft or slow close hinges on cabinet doors. The rooms have hard floors which are easier to clean. There is a Master Light switch at the entrance door so you can leave one or more lights on in room, touch the Master light switch to turn them all off and when you return, you can turn them back on again with the Mast light switch.
I stayed here for two weeks for business. It is located at a convenient location with Metro within short minutes walk as well as a few variety restaurants. This is a new area, so many locations are still under construction and are yet to open. I enjoyed walking along the waterfront. There are stores and restaurants that are sill opening at those locations as well. A Harris Teeter grocery store is two long blocks away.
My room was very clean, the hotel is less than a year old. The alarm clock can dim or turn off and includes time on three sides. The TV is a smart TV with access to YouTube, Netflix and other services. The thermostat has an occupancy sensor and does tend to reset at a warm temperature. The shower is a large walk-in. I'm not used to that!
The rooms are incredible! I'll take that over my apartment any day. It's affordable, in walking distance of so much, and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect.
There is plenty of shelf space and room in the refrigerator. Three people easily sit at table, might be crowded for four and four chairs are at the table. But there is plenty of room in the kitchen and dining area.
Be aware that you use one elevator to reach the lobby from the street and other elevators to reach your room. The valet and loading/unloading isn't clearly marked (for me), but it is located next to a construction zone.making it more difficult. The entrance is a small store front entrance
This is a great hotel! The rooms were spectacular. Hard wood floors, oven/stove, dishwasher. The staff was great, and the breakfast wow! Tons of stuff to choose from. I will be staying here again!!
My complaints or suggestions include having hooks or locations to hang coats by the door. Counter space is a little limited.
