The room we had was considered to be a family room. I suggest that each bathroom for a "family" room should at least have three sets of towels. The pictures on the television were a bit snowy. Otherwise, we had a pleasant experience. I think I might stay there again because of the positives.

Nice hotel inside, it looks modern unlike those other wornout hotels. Staff was nice. Bed was comfy and big. My wife and i loved the hotel and its proximity to the dc museums and white house. The price was great; $339 for four nights. Overall a good experience.

Good customer service. The staff was very helpful--very professional. The rooms were a bit smaller than I am accustomed to and yet I felt comfortable. Easy access to the train.

I had a very good stay while in town for the Marine Corps Marathon 10K. The room was very clean. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. To me it was worth the money to have the hotel park my car and keep it in a safe and secure garage. Yes there were some homeless folks around as per the other review I have read, but not one of them begged and all were very polite. I am planning on running this race next year and will be booking again with this hotel. Very close to the Metro which was a big plus. The folks in the Metro were equally friendly and very helpful.

A very elegant clean hotel only one train stop from the main DC station. They have a great bar, excellent bar food/meals and exceptional staff. There is nothing much in that area where the hotel is located, but it's only a few minutes into town on the train , & the train station is next door. Highly recommended.

The employees at the podium were very helpful and pleasant. Even housekeeping smiled and said hello. They asked if I needed help when I was searching for the restroom, which was very kind. The noises in this building are another story The trains that run alongside the hotel are loud and keep me awake through the night even on the 5th floor. The construction in the Indian restaurant on the first floor during most of the day made meetings and conversations in the bar seating area very difficult. I'm not sure if I'd return to this particular hotel because of restless sleep. Some might not be as bothered as I was (those heavy sleepers out there) and trade noise for the location and being super close to the metro.
