I would not recommend this hotel.
The rooms had a lot of space and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is sort of walking distance to the mall but I would recommend a car. The breakfast is delicious (especially the omlettes). My only complaint is the pool is only 3 feet deep for some reason.
Good location with easy access to the Metro, unfortunately, that was the best part of my experience.
There was no apology or any type of compensation for receiving a worse room than I had reserved. I was told I could try to switch rooms the next day, but I had to leave early in the morning before rooms were available, and didn't get back until the evening when people had already checked in.
The bathroom was disappointing. There was no counter around the sink, so it was difficult to find areas to keep my toiletries. The shower head very low pressure, most likely because of a leak from the on/off lever.
I arrived at 10 pm, and they'd given my room away, so I was given an accessible room on the second floor with two double beds instead of the standard king room I had reserved.
A great hotel, with a great staff, in a great location you are just blocks from the White House, one way and Chinatown the other way. This is a beautiful property great for doing business and supergreat for seeing the city. If you stay book a club room it gives you access to the lounge all day coffee, tea, and sodas as well as snacks a great place to unwind. If you want to entertain while in DC get a congressional suite this is great.
Hotel was great. Cleanliness was high. The best part was the location. It's minutes away from shops like Zara. H&M. White house is like 10 minute walk. Great location and very safe. Highly recommended. A little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for!
Had some noise issues facing the internal lobby area. Unfortunately the hotel was mostly full but the front desk offered to try and help as much as possible to address my issue. The noise was mainly due to music being played by the hotel, which they promptly turned off when I asked. Breakfast was quite enjoyable. I had a slow drain in both my shower and toilet but the room was large and bed was comfortable. Location was great.
I could hear a lot of street noise in the room, and I was woken up by the street noise in the mornings.
