Wow, what an amazing experience. A true sample of exceptional excellence. From location to customer service to the minutiae of details, they have mastered it all. I’ll be honest, I’m a little bias as the Intercontinental is one of my favorite hotel brands, and I’m obsessed with the New Orleans location. But staying here, will be the best decision you can make while in the District.

Loved it. Stunning shiney new hotel in the recently regenerated wharf area. Staff very friendly and proud of the hotel, everyone makes guy feel welcome. Rooms tastefully decorated in a new modern style. Some rooms have nice views over the river.
My family and I stayed here for one night over the holidays. This hotel was perfect for us! All the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and welcoming. We met Andrea and Eric in the lobby upon our arrival and they went above and beyond to be kind, thoughtful and helpful. They made sure our one year old was going to have a great stay too! We appreciate the attention to detail from both Eric and Andrea. We ordered two meals from in room dining and each meal was perfect. This hotel is also within walking distance to monuments and museums. We loved the area and being right near the water. Our family has traveled and stayed in 12+ states over the last few months and out of all our hotel stays this is the best one we've had yet. If you're looking for a place to stay in DC you can't go wrong with this hotel.
We had our office Holiday party there! Very nice! We were fortunate to have nice weather that day, so, we could step out on the balcony. The view was awesome! Food was good! The bartender didn't seem to be too knowledgeable, but, that may have been because he was just stuck there with limited choices, waiting on us. He was nice, though.
Do not recommend restaurant for breakfast. Ordered 2 eggs, toast and coffee. With tip.... $25.00 for 2 very small eggs with rest of plate filled up with greens. Toast cold and dry. Coffee Luke warm. Hopefully they will do better.
