My husband and I stayed here over a weekend. The hotel is quite impressive with a beautiful and historic interiors. Location is definitely awesome, almost all the tourist attractions of DC are nearby. I loved the flower arrangement which they change daily near the entrance. Everything looks perfect to me but I still give three star because the staff attended us was rude to us (don't know why?).

Paid for valet parking and had to walk through hotel lobby to exit. Hotel is beautiful and historic. Staff was friendly and the location is excellent. I would only give 3 stars to the valet parking. The attendants didn't speak much English and seemed disorganized. I waited 15min for them to bring my car so I asked for my keys so I could get it myself.

We came with friends for drinks at the Round Robin bar, my wife and I stood just behind the people seated at the bar without being acknowledged for about 20 minutes, then 2 seats opened up and as soon as we sat down a bartender greeted us and got us drinks. I don't know if they were understaffed or not used to that many people but none of the bar staff seemed too interested in helping anyone who wasn't seated at the bar. The hotel was beautiful and decorated nicely for Christmas, and we found a table to sit at in the lobby hallway with our friends.

Located just two blocks from the White House and Metro stations, it's ideally situated. The lobby is glamorous and impressive. Room decor was either a little dated or not my taste, but on the positive side it was quiet and comfortable. I'd definitely go back.

Hot as hell because they control the A/C. I’m lying in bed sweltering in November and I’m tired of having to call the front desk at hotels to keep my room cool and below 70 degrees. Happens everywhere and I’m sick of having to call the front desk to have maintenance come perform a miracle to make the room cool. From now on they just get bad reviews. I lived at the Willard for 2 months in 2015 and had the same problem. Nice hotel but they care more about saving a few bucks then their guests’ comfort.
