We chose this hotel because it is within walking distance of the Museum of the Bible and stayed this past weekend. We were very impressed with everything about the the hotel - the staff especially. Everybody - front desk, housekeeping, bell station, restaurant - we interacted with went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. We were allowed early check-in with no additional charge. The room was quite spacious and well furnished and well lighted. The bed was very comfortable with choices of firm or soft pillows. Everything was clean and fresh. We appreciated the Keurig to make coffee with both regular and decaf. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices and the food was good. (If you are given the choice of adding it to your room when you make the reservation, it's a much better buy).
Very comfortable. Restaurants open late with good food and good service. Check-in was a pleasure, even though Google have me on the other side of town. But the staff is helpful to get me to the correct destination and was very friendly on Entry.
Nice clean room, only a few of the staff stood out as really trying to please, others seed continually bored. Kudos to Tanya in the restaurant. She went above and beyond. Pleasant and funny. The lady who cleans in the rm 905 area, very pleasant and helpful and the gentleman who was doing tourist information near the check in/out desk...very helpful!
The room was nice and clean. The bed was a bit harder than I would have liked. I loved having a Starbucks right dowmstairs. The breakfast buffet was very good with a lot of variety.
Very clean hotel. Friendly staff. No bed bugs. No funky hotel odor, smells fresh and clean. Close walking distance to L'Enfant metro, the air and space museum, restaurants etc. There's a small laundry room with small boxes of detergent for purchase if you need to wash clothes. Taxi's are outside the main entrance if you prefer to use those. Starbucks is right around the corner. As for the restaurant inside the hotel, that's another story. They were not busy and it took the waitress 20 minutes to bring us our drinks which was sprite nothing extravagant. The hostess and what looked like the manager were nice but our waitress seemed to care less about being there and was very slow. It's a shame because the food was good, its just the service sucked. There are a lot more choices in restaurants around DC to go to so explore options. Hard Rock Cafe was awesome. Overall I plan on staying at this hotel again.
