Pro: bikes worked out good - made it to Mt Vernon and back. Locks and good helmets were provided.

This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received in any business. I went there yesterday to get a tube replaced. There were people in front of me so I had to wait 45 minutes. Fair enough. When it was my turn, he pulled a new tube in order to replace mine. At the same time, two customers walked thru the door to rent bikes. The dude tells me right there: "Sorry but I can't help you. Go to Bike Pro Shop". I was absolutely stunned! After that long wait, he took other customers before me. The guy was rude beyond anything I have ever seen. Avoid this place!

Con: no fix kit, no tools, no pumps, no pick up service if something were to break along the way. You'd be stranded if you had a flat. Bikes could be cleaner. Chain skipped on hills on my bike - may be time to put on a new one.

Even if you make a reservation they will try to hook you the crappiest bike possible. We made a reservation and paid up front for a mountain bike to visit the parks around DC, and they tried to give us a city bike arguing that they only had those. It is not a tourist friendly place, for not native English speakers they not make any effort to talk clear. Unfortunately the bike rental offer in DC is reduced making them confident that even with this kind of service they will get clients. Next time I prefer to travel with mi bike.

Had such a great experience. I attempted Pro Shop in Georgetown and was essentially turned away because my bike was not high end enough and came here. Oz (? I'M terrible with names, the mechanic) was very helpful and curtious. He took the time to explain things and really made my bike better. Upon check out I had told him my poor experience at Pro and showed how terrible of a handle wrap job they did and he fixed it right then and there for me. Very appreciative!!! Highly recommend. May take longer to repair but well worth the wait!

These guys are the absolute worst. Have sold me multiple tubes that blew almost immediately. Did a brake adjustment that left both brakes rubbing and a wheel nut loose (that came off later while I was riding). I'd rather walk home than get anything done by them.
