While I had the hitch installed at a different U-Haul location, the employee who attached my trailer should have checked to ensure that my lights were working. I was there alone so I could not check all the lights myself as I would need someone in the car pressing the brake.
Very happy with my moving experience. Not a lot of hidden fees, good service, and decent location (walking distance from the Rhode Island Avenue metro station) makes this U-Haul a good choice for in-town moving

This U-haul runs like a machine. It was super easy to reserve, pick-up and drop off the U-haul and they answered all my questions before I even had the chance to ask them. The facility is also easy to get to and leave from, so driving a big moving truck for the firs time was less intimidating

While the employees of this location were helpful and I did not have to wait long for service, I am upset that after an 11 hour drive to Ohio I learned as I was getting off the turnpike that the lights on my trailer had not been working the whole time. 3 hours of that drive were in the dark - so dangerous!
