I received service from Kylan S. He was very professional and made the check-in/pickup process easy. We chatted about a career in U-HAUL for my nephew. Kylan only praised the ability to work and grow for a company that has options that can fit anyone's ability.

These guys really hauled ass on a incredibly busy Sunday. Really appreciate their hustle and speediness getting everyone through the line at a nice pace, given the line was out the door. We only had to wait 15 minutes, if that. Very clean facility. Careful the stoplight where they sit at the intersection is also a red-light camera courtesy of MPD. Thanks guys!

This was my first time using this U-HAUL in the DC Area. I booked online which was super easy and convenient. I called the Customer Service Number to confirm the size of a truck I might need. I changed my size twice and received a confirmation email each time. For the day of pick up I was dropped off to the area of the trucks (assuming that's where I would check-in.) There is poor signage to where the main office is but any educated person would see there was a building separating the truck pickup area and the U-HAUL building. I should have asked the gentleman who was moving trucks all over where to go. But like Dorthy in The Wizard of Oz, I followed the brick pavers towards the building.

Returning it was a piece of cake! The key drop off location is to the left of the door of the U-HAUL building. Overall, this establishment was clean, organized. The truck is a typical U-HAUL truck. If its dirty, dent and dinged it would be fresh off the assembly line. The staff recommended taking pictures and videos before pulling off. Over all 5 stars to the staff and the establishment.

There's only a few gas stations in the area so either GPS or Ask where they are before you head out.

I've had two great experiences at this U-Haul over the last month. The location is great — easy to get to on the train in NoMa if you're coming that way, as well as easy curb parking on K Street on off-peak hours and all day on weekends. It seems to have improved since a few years ago with a new manager. He's been on-site both times I've rented for a day on a Saturday, and things were pretty seamless both times. I had to wait ten minutes or so inside to check in the first time, but as to be expected, Saturdays are always a little busier with lots of folks doing daily rental. (The second visit I was there right after 7am, and had zero wait at all.) After checking in, we got our truck from the guys outside within 2-3 minutes, and when returning, we were checked in and sent on our way in 2-3 minutes again, both times. As for the rest of the customer service inside, I'll say this: you catch more flies with honey, folks. Ask folks how their day is going. Be friendly and you'll often get the same in return. Oh, and our first rental was a brand new cargo van which was spotless and terrific. The second rental was a 15' box truck which was a little older (86k miles) but we had no problems with it whatsoever. We'll be back for our next one-day in-town rental for sure.

Watch your credit card statements when you rent from this location! I was in town on Aug. 7th to move my daughter back into her dorm for the year. I rented a truck for $19.99 plus mileage for the day. I returned the truck that same day, was charge $47.03 and went about my day thinking that was the end of my dealings with them. Today Sep. 14th I signed on to my credit card account to make a payment and there was a charge from this store that posted to my account Sep. 11th for $165.00. I tried to call the store and my call was routed to the customer care line. I spoke with the customer service rep. and filed a claim......my concerns are 1. Why do they have my credit information more than 30 days after my transaction. 2. How can they charge me with out my consent or knowledge. 3. When the customer service looked up the bill, why is there no information on why the charge is there. 4. I live in Florida and haven't been in the D.C. area since Aug 8th, how did I possibly use there services from 1000 miles away. Very shady business if you ask me. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau on this store and will post on every site they are on to warn anyone that is planning to use them to make sure they look at there credit card statements. If I could give this store a negative rating I would. They tried to steal my money, and I wonder how many other people they have done this to with out them even noticing.
