What a beautiful place! After forcibly storming the embassy and taking the dear ambassador hostage, I was given the delightful opportunity to watch a free appearance and performance by the SWAT team, such joy! After a very loud and somewhat aggressive conversation, the nice man in charge gave me a new set of metal bracelets to wear, he let me sit in the back of his very empty and large windowless van. He was even kind enough to give me a new bedroom that includes bars on every possible exit. Which turned out to be useful as The Department of Homeland Security decided to seize control of my home. A truly pleasant experience. If I make it though the 55 year stay at my new home, I will be sure to visit again!
I am a naturalised American citizen and proud to be one, but will never lose my Srilankan spirit. Kudos to all our lovely people at the Srilankan Embassy and compliments to HE the ambassador for having such a wonderful team.
Had a pleasant time in the embassy during the open embassy day few days back. Event was very well organized and insightful and the staff was very welcoming and helpful. It was great to see the ambassador himself talking to visitors and enjoying his time with people. Great job
I think we must appreciate these civil service professionals who come along way from home to serve their nation and the natives of Srilanka.
The service in this embassy is much better that US embassy in Sri Lanka. Officers working at this embassy know what they are doing, and they are really helpful. When I tried to obtain a no objection statement, US embassy in Sri Lanka at least didn't reply my Emails at all and wasted two months to do nothing, although I have sent them Emails for two months. Officers in this embassy forwarded my application efficiently within one week.
They host horrible events! Planned the SL Independence celebration on Tuesday... when SL Independence was on a SATURDAY! They must be out of their minds! Club was not goin up on a Tuesday! Bad Planning! They misrepresent us!
