I sent NVR application via mail and they precessed and sent it back in 3 business days. I used FedEx overnight delivery. I also called the Embassy for some enquiry and they told me how to send the application. The website of the embassy might give you some hard time to find the application forms but once you find those just follow the instructions there. Some tips: when they ask for attested copies, it means notarized in USA. Eg. US Marriage certificate needs to be notarized. Some banks do free notarization. UPS stores also notarized for a fee ($5 per paper). For name change use social security card instead of court order. You can fill in the online application form and print and submit, however they require you to fill in the paper based application form and send with application. You can still send the printed online application form but it might be difficult to fill in every box of that form as it is not modified for USA; it's a generalized version for all country.
I think some people do mistake when they fill up the form and that cause delay. We should do our part correctly instead of blaming embassy employees.
I am impressed with their service and behavior. The staff was accommodating and polite. They did everything to make my 5years old daughter comfortable. I don't know why people give them negative reviews.
Excellent service! I am not sure why some people given negative reviews. They are very friendly and they sent my new passport within 15 days though they supposed to send within 60 days.
Not happy with the service I got, about 6 months still waiting for the MRP. May Allah give them hedayah, Amin.
I sent my mrp-reissue application form and got it back in a month. It was surprisingly fast service (45-60 days is normal) I got from the embassy. One think I have to mention, Mr. Akram was remarkably helpful and kind with the service. Thanks a bunch Mr. Akram :)
