My boyfriend is renting a home through agent owned. His ac has broken 3 times since having the house, over only an eight month time span. Each time it has broken, the communication taken to repair the unit has been awful. This last time, it broke on a Wednesday. It's been over a week and is still broken. Keep in mind, it is summer in DC and at least 90 degrees outside. He's called every day since it breaking and agent owned keeps telling him they are talking to the home owner. They haven't offered any rent reductions or any kind of compensation for the time length it's taken to repair the unit. Terrible communication.
