Nicely done Architecture and layout. The 6 floors of Stairs are magnificent. Also fantastic viewing from Top floor and restaurant. Lower floors offering unique viewing of displays. However, the intent and/ or purpose of this Venue for Christianity is lacking "Authenticity". Nevertheless, most everyone will enjoy time spent.

What a great experience! 6 floors devoted to the study of the Bible. Admission is free with suggested donations, and includes a personal, handheld audio tour guide for each guest. I highly recommend planning on spending at least 2 days here if you want to see each everything. We began out tour with the origins of written language through the Bible's evolution and many translations throughout history up to modern times. That was just one floor and took a good 2 1/2 hours (listening to nearly every audio stop). On our next visit we plan to tour the floor devoted to the stories of the Bible.

There is a cafe located on second floor that serves the standard sandwiches, salads, and wraps (our chicken salad wrap was very good). There is also a Bible -themed restaurant in the museum, but we did not get an opportunity to eat there -maybe next time.

This place is loaded with content. Actually way better than both creation museum and the Ark in Kentucky. I was very pleased with the amount of detail that went into the first room involving the back story of the writer of the hymn of Amazing Grace. The old and new Testament rooms are incredible and the video content is extremely exiting. I would highly recommend getting a membership since no one can get through this place in one day.

The average visit may be 4.5 hours, but if you find the study of the Bible fascinating, then plan on a several DAYS' visit! It's overwhelming in its scope, the tour guides are very knowledgeable, the staff in every area is very friendly and welcoming, and the bonus is the current musical, "Amazing Grace"! The music, the acting, and the stage management are outstanding! The tickets are a bit pricey, but well worth it! We spent four DAYS at the museum and needed more time, believe it or not. We came to DC specifically to see the museum in its entirety, thinking four days was more than enough, and it was not. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit!

This was my favorite museum I've ever visited in the area, and my family agreed! It is amazing. There's an area set up to look like Jerusalem during Christ's time & it was beautiful. They even had people dressed up like those who lived there during that time & they were doing demonstrations & talking about how people lived back then. There's also an area where kids can learn, explore, & play. I loved the area that talked about how the Bible has influenced the world today. Be sure to check out the spot where it has people's uniforms. In the videos there, the people share their testimonies of the Bible & how it's helped them in their everyday lives. There's also another spot nearby that looks like a jail cell & talks about people who were converted to the gospel while they were in prison. So cool. The whole museum is very modern & interactive. Loved it!
