My experience with Treasure Trove couldn't have been better, they were absolutely amazing in every way. I came in with an extremely short and strict ideal timeline for my ring to be created, and they were able to deliver! They took a loose stone, family heirloom, and matched it with the absolute perfect setting. Lines of communication were open the entire time, proactively reached out to me throughout. The cost was also extremely fair, beating all local competition.
I mainly worked with David and Mark and couldn't be happier with my experience. I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a jeweler in the DC area to work with the Broder Family and Treasure Trove Jewelers!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR CURRENCY EXCHANGES. Please do not give this place your money. I exchanged dollars for euros there a week ago and was told by friends they stole money from me. A red flag is that they do not give you a receipt unless you request one. They lack good customer service, are extremely unprofessional and unwilling to accommodate your requests. If you want to be cheated for your money, this is the place that will do it. I refuse and will not to send anyone to this horrible, hole-in-the-wall service. This is far from being a treasure trove! I deeply regret exchanging my money there. It does not deserve any star rating, but I am forced to rate with a star since this is the way I am able to post.
The store said they don't give Bank value of your currency because they're Retail. You will find the true value of your money just by Googling it. You will also pay a high rate to exchange your currency. They seem to be fairly honest. Customer service is sketchy depending on who you're talking to. If you have rare foreign currency they will not give you anything extra for. Thank you
Have been shopping at this great jeweler for 40 years, always a fantastic experience. The staff provides excellent advice on purchases and they are very trustworthy. I feel safe leaving my precious items for repairs and cleaning. Could not get better prices or customer service. They are outstanding.
David helped my fiance create the ring of my dreams! It is even more beautiful and sparkly than I could have imagined. When getting my ring re-sized, David and his team resized my ring within 20 minutes, no questions asked. David also takes time to educate you and your partner on different aspects of diamonds, as well as how to recognize the specific diamond that is purchased. I would strongly recommend Treasure Trove!
