I drove all day and wanted to relax. I went in to have dinner and drinks and watch some football. There is a bar in front. There are no less than 5 TV’s in this area and they all had on the same game. I asked the bartender if she could put another game on ONE TV. She said no, that I would have to sit in the back. The five people at the bar were watching all of the TV’s. Which all had the same game on. Fine. It makes zero sense because, did I mention, they all had the same game on? But, fine. We got to the back and she said this bar is closed but I can get you something. I asked for a beer, said thank you and she went back to the bar up front. There were three employees sitting at the closed bar watching football and talking. When they did not acknowledge me, I figured they were off the clock. I thought surely there would be someone to come to my table to take my order. NO ONE. They completely ignored me. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to even acknowledge me so I could pay for my beer. I didn’t have enough cash to drop it on the table. I thought about just walking out but that is not who I am. I went up to the front bar and stood there until she finally acknowledged me and said “what do you want?” Not in a nasty tone, but still. What do I want!? I said I just want to pay for my beer. I did so and left, never to return again.
I come here for soccer games. Never been here for any other reason. They have all the possible soccer games that you can get on FS1/2/+, Gol TV, and of course ESPN/NBC.
I will never go back. There is no customer service here at all.
Great atmosphere, great people, and definitely a staple in DuPont circle. If you want good drinks, great food, amazing company, and an overall great experience, come to Lucky Bar!
The BEST soccer bar on DC area! Also, tons of good fans demand great staff! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!
Disappointing. It actually seems like a cool place but the staff is not good at all.
Good bar to unwind and watch soccer. A little bit noisy especially if it's El Clasico. Food is okay, humongous serving portions
