We made reservations but really wasn't necessary. At 4pm they sat us right away. The service was excellent the staff friendly. Food came out very quickly. The presentation was lovely but wouldn't say it was the best I've had. We had the shrimp and grits, fish and chips, sushi and the miso soup. If your really picky about your sushi than know the sushi rolls are small but fresh. I will warn you about the eggnog it was straight alcohol. Which could be good or bad depending on what your in the mood for.
Seasonal, great menu selection. We went for brunch, had a good mix of breakfast and all day items. Good seasonal drinks. Friendly service while we were ordering and eating. However, once we finished meal we stayed and chatted for a bit, we did not get anymore water during that time. They were busy, but just a note.
Great place to go for dinner and drinks! Very busy place to be on a Saturday night. I sat at the bar downstairs near the entrance. Bruce and Fitz were amazing, very attentive, and very friendly. They had great recommendations and drink knowledge. Great experience
I've heard that it was good seafood but I don't like seafood so I can't talk to that point. This is managed by the same company that manages the Old Ebbitt and Clyde's in Bethesda. There are multiple bars in the restaurant but, happy hour or dinner time and you won't find anywhere to sit. If we're going to happy hour plan to get there early. I don't know that the drinks were just counted during happy hour but they do have the sushi happy hour.
Second favorite restaurant in DC. Liked it so much that I visited it twice and would have gone more since it was so close to my hotel except it was too busy at times. Very friendly staff and good food made this spot a place worth coming back to. Very comfortable atmosphere. Wish I would have got to experience their new shows downstairs. Only graded 4 stars because they get super busy and don't seem to handle it as well as other restaurants in the area.
