Super fun atmosphere, and a great selection of oysters. Other food is mostly boardwalk fare, and it’s not exactly a great place to have a full lunch or dinner. But as far as snacks with your beer goes, they’ve got you covered. Oh, and champagne on tap!
When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and feel like you're back on the boardwalk, inside a beachfront restaurant.... then Pop's SeaBar my friends is a lovely escape. The combination of awesome food, a casual and relaxed environment with fantastic service makes this an amazing place. Eat, hang out and just have fun enjoying the awesome atmosphere. The owners and staff are simply wonderful people...They are so friendly and courteous, it makes you feel as if you are long lost friends :-) ( and that is rare to find ). If you're in DC do not miss out on visiting this place!! It would be a shame if you did! :-)
Awesome seafood spot! The decor makes you feel like you're at the beach and the service is top rate. Try the Happy Oysters, you won't be disappointed!!
Fun bar, nice atmosphere, kitschy without being too over the top. Cheap beers are nice, the crushes are great, and the food's solid, too. Never quite know whether to come here for dinner, drinks, etc. as the menu is a little eclectic -- nothing ever jumps out to me on it. A favorite bar in the neighborhood nevertheless!
I know this is a seafood location, but The pork roll burger is amazing and worth diverging from a fish pick. However fried smelts are pretty great too.
