Great little bar with excellent atmosphere and sensational service. Friendly and warm; music was terrific.
Drinks were mixed poorly and music/ entertainment was so so. Wish we would’ve went someplace else.... this is coming from someone who really enjoys piano bars too.
It is a pity.
Stopped in for a few drinks, ended up staying for four hours. The bar tender was attentive and made drinks quite quickly. The pianist and then the two gentlemen doing the dueling pianos were very good performers. My only problem is the acoustics, when the people got loud it made it difficult to enjoy the music and difficult to even make out what songs were being played. Definitely worth the trip out to Georgetown!
However, My wife and i had an argument with the owner Gene. We had a misunderstanding and he handled it terribly. He is the rudest bar owner I have ever seen. Real joke. While we were leaving, he called security on us, and even the security guy didn’t know what to do because we were not trying to be any difficult for anyone. Real gem with a distressed owner. Find a helper if you can’t take the heat.
Good lord this place was a blast. Very friendly and competent staff, and the musicians could handle anything you threw at them. Ended up staying for 5 hours my first visit. Had one server who was working at least half of the entire room, which was BUSY, and she absolutely rocked! I will be talking about this place back west.
I actually really like the place itself. The pianists were nice and fun. They played really good songs as far as we were allowed to listen.
