I liked the decor and the drinks were good. Like any bar can get crowded if you simply want to stand.
This bar is grown and sexy!! The cocktails are amazing as is their wine list. Perfect for date night or after seeing a performance at the nearby theater. I plan to return soon to try the food!
Favorite bar in DC. They manage to keep the look and feel like an actual speakeasy, to include not having TVs or blaring music. What a change of pace for DC and the area. The cocktails are exquisite, and the foods matches in quality.
The sweet potato hummus is wonderful, as are the deviled eggs. All of the larger plates are also quite delicious.
Cool little speakeasy. The drinks are delicious and all the bar tenders really know their stuff. Make a reservation, because it can be crowded. FYI, a little hard to find - go to the address and look for the stairs going down on the sidewalk.
Just a trendy, dark hole in the wall. Dark, because literally everything from the paint to the bar stools to floor was black. Very modern classic. Good scene, friendly staff, r&b music was on point. Everyone was dressed well. Go for a drink and intimate convo with your partner.
