The secret hidden bookshelf door creates an exciting vibe leading into the 1st floor speak easy style bar. With a refreshing cocktail menu that has a clever espionage themed twist like “The Man in the Green Hat”, "From Russia w Love" & “Octopussy” it can't get better than that. Unless you get to go into the hidden entrance way disguised as a classy fireplace leads to the DJ booth with a bird’s eye view of the 2nd floor. Really great set up with top notch music/DJ's. The staff is always on point and service is great. Got nothing but amazing things to say about the the newest addition to the U St corridor. If Harry Potter/Indiana Jones had a bar then this would it. Fun, cool and good times. DC club/bar at it's finest!
Went here on a Friday night and loved it... the atmosphere, the people (especially the staff), and music! They played a mix of modern and throwback hip-hop. I will definitely be returning to Cloak & Dagger.
Went for the first time and fell in love. Downstairs provides a more intimate space and upstairs was a banging party. DJ was excellent!
Several DJs switched on and off through the night. They were playing all the top tunes and walked us through time from 1990s music to present. They had a one hour open bar for ladies. Drink prices start at $9 (plastic cup service). I'm not sure if the place had AC or not but it got really hot. Seeing as how its a place people come to dance, we just sweated it out all night.... good times!
Love the fact the owners Sonny & Gunjack goes that extra mile to make sure you have a great time , and the manager Chris you are sure to have a great time. The bartenders will definitely get you lit and the bottle service girls are freaking sexy they belong in a magazine, then on Thursdays they have new/old school where the owners B-boy buddies come in and definitely get a battle going
