I just love Aldi, this is the store you would want to go to if you want to save money. Their fruits and vegetables are fabulous. The pricing of their items are so affordable. But it's not only the affordability, the food is good quality food for a low price.
The prices here are good for the dc area--the brands aren't your typical brands (that's why they're cheaper) but most products are still good quality. (I've only had trouble with their hair products like hairspray and don't prefer to buy that there again). Location isn't the most convient/best location but other than that it's a great store.
They don't have everything you need, but you will spend so much less on groceries here. Produce is better, meats are better and the snacks are great too! We don't mind the store brands because the quality is good. Remember to bring a quarter to use the cart and bags for your groceries.
Can usually always find competitive prices on food even if store brands. Love their whole wheat bread, they have great guarantees on items. Staff is the best. Sale wines and beer. Great prices on almost everything. Bad time to shop is 1st of the month. Good times are after 9 in the morning and between 1: 30 and 3 p.m.
A clean, well-laid-out Aldi. Because it’s DC, you can get great values on nice beer and wine. Even the cheapest wine is better quality than Two Buck Chuck. Produce is consistently good value also.
