Yesterday, my partners order me some flowers. When they arrived she stated that wasn't what she ordered. She called to rectify the issue and they told her they were sending out new flowers the same day. As of today, I have yet to receive new flowers. I called to speak with the manager and that is when Peter explained that my partner used a 3rd Party website to order the flowers and the amount that was received after that 3 parties fees was not enough to send the flowers purchased. I explained that has nothing to do with me nor my partner as they are the ones that partner with that 3rd party and agree to ship the flowers, there is a huge difference between Roses (what were ordered) and carnations (what was received). Peter rudely stated it has everything to do with us and for us to call the 3rd party. I explained we did and it has everything to do with the flower shop as they are the ones providing the customer with flowers with their name on it. Peter was again rude! I asked if their was a higher manager and he transferred me to Jeffrey for me to yell at him as he so kindly put my frustration. I explained the situation and to my surprise Jeffrey was even ruder! He said it wasn't his issue and to call the 3rd party. I expressed my issue with Peter and he didn't care. I explained I will be posting a negative review on every site I can find their name on and he state, "Thank you for being so kind!". Clearly he does not value his customers nor his business!
I went in today having no clue what I wanted. They were very pleasant, patient, and helpful and made me a beautiful arrangement for my evening tonight. Very grateful. I’ll be back!
On the day of the wedding, everything was seriously ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations (from delivery/service to the actual arrangements). We had expected that our budget would afford us very minimal floral arrangements but were blown away by how amazing they turned out. Flowers on 14th really stepped up to make our day awesome. And we loved that we got to use a vendor so ingrained in the DC community.
I ordered Sunday afternoon thru the website a sympathy spray for a funeral in Oxen Hill for Monday morning at 10:00 am. I also called to confirmed the order could be fulfilled with such short notice and was politlely assured it would be there. It was delivered early and looked beautiful.
This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have received. Both the "manager" Peter and "Shop Owner" Jeffrey Fritz have horrible customer service. With the poor service I received I am shocked they are still in business.
I cannot tell you how much I love this business. They're very good at more than just creating the perfect aesthetic; their prices are very reasonable and they work closely (and efficiently!) to ensure you leave with a beautiful product. Nicely done.
We used flowers on 14th for our wedding. They were quick with their initial proposal and met with/spoke with us NUMEROUS times throughout the month before to go over exactly what we wanted. They also were happy to switch pretty much everything up when we changed our minds in just the couple weeks before the wedding. I will say that there were a few times throughout the process that it was a bit hard to get someone on the phone and they could be slow to respond, but as we were not under a super time crunch, this wasn't so severe to add any major stress or annoyance. And the final product for us far outweighed any issues.
