Gorgeous bookstore with some equally gorgeous collectors' items. However, prices run a little high for a used bookstore. Decent bargain selection outside. Good if you've got money to spend. Otherwise you won't want to buy more than two books here

This bookstore is a gem, I'm so glad I stumbled upon it just passing through Dupont Circle. They have a decent selection of used paper and hardback books in fiction and literary criticism. I wasn't in the market for any rare 1st editions but there were many to admire in the shop. Also the $4 a book/6 for $20 sidewalk sale was fun, lots of DC'ers young and old were perusing. Every city would be lucky to have a space like this!
Many books to search through with good pricing. Staff are nice and spending time in a used bookstore is just like treasure hunting. Don't forget to check out the book carts outside.
I can spend hours in this bookstore. I am somewhat of an expert since I owned and managed my own 3500 Sq ft shop for 20 years.
