Used book store with lots of character - occupies three stories of a Capitol Hill rowhouse, a decades-old institution that is a vital part of the neighborhood. Not for those prone to claustrophobia, there are right quarters and books everywhere!! Owner is always in premise and has intimate knowledge of his stock. He is as much of a character as his store! Visit if you are in the area!!
Unique resale bookstore in the heart of Eastern Market/Capitol Hill. Books stacked from floor to ceiling on three levels of a converted brickstone. Huge selection on practically every topic and reasonable prices. Quirky and highly recommend!
I love a good used book store. The staff were funny and knowledgeable and generally interested in the titles customers were purchasing. I went twice in the week I spent in D.C. and ended up buying 3 books. I could spend hours and hours here.
