4th street is a very commercial area, sidewalks were blocked by two different trucks on the walk up from NOMA. The majority of shops were of the "whole sale" variety. Their shop windows looked like the cover of an Oriental Trading magazine. On the whole I would not recommend walking here from the south up 4th street.
Horrible customer service!!!! We were in the area to shop, and my ATM card got stuck in their machine- the machine completely shut down during the process of withdrawing cash. We went into the banking hall, and politely requested that they should help get my card from the machine. In the end, the manager informed us that she couldn’t get the card, and she was not willing to tell us why she couldn’t get a technician in ASAP to fix the problem. We were also harassed by the security officer for calling their customer service representative over the phone to check if the situation can be resolved from their end, without having to cancel my card or driving all the way to my bank to get a new card. On our way out the machine was back up and running! Please avoid using their ATM if you are in hurry and don’t want to be insulted.
