Doing the Mangia Dc Food tour i had a good time and learned a lot as while trying new food out. The food was okay but the tour awesome! I learned a lot of history about the restaurant it was VERY interesting !!!!
I like the Mangia food tour because I experienced a lot of new food I wouldn't have eaten. I would recommend it to others because its a new way to meet new people and eat different foods from different cultures.
So I've done other food tours, and this was quite disappointing. We only did 4 tastings, and one of them was a free olive oil tasting. The last was a cookie in a bag. Our guide didn't really know much about the area and definitely didn't know the food. Wander around and find some food yourself, and you'll spend less and have more fun.
I had a mind blowing experience with Mangia Food Tours. The guides blew me away with their astonishing eloquence and knowledge of the restaurant. I went on the tour as a field trip with my Hospitality and Tourism class at Ballou High School and while teaching us the history of the area, they also taught us the importance of creating relationships with other companies. Overall I had an amazing experience and hope that other people will soon have an opportunity to do the same.
My experience was amazing I got to experience new things and learn important things and I got to taste foods I never tried before and learned about a new culture and how they immigrate to America
