I arrived on time for 1:30 and even called beforehand to say I'd be late because I had gotten lost.

I think the Mandarin Oriental does an excellent job of treating their guests from high tea to spa treatments. My only bad experience was when they over-emphasized my food allergy when out with a bunch of girls and I came off as needy. If you call ahead with allergies, like I did, it should be smoothly delivered without drawing attention to your difference.

I've always had great sevices here. It's true that front desk can be a little stand offish and disorganized, but I like the treatments better than the four seasons in dc. They are very expensive, so hard to do this regularly. I'd love to see discounts for regular visits.

That was not the case. What a sore disappointment of a first Spa experience.

My experience of this gift card given to me from my daughter was FAR FROM what I was promised by your agent, Teresa, on the phone the day before when I made my reservation.

First off, I never received an offer of champagne as Teresa said I would nor much less a call from her that she promised she would do by COB on reservation day regarding a complimentary bento box instead of champagne, as I do not drink.

I expected from your 5 star premium hotel that the standard for out of town guests, first timers, would at least keep the promises that built up my expectations. Are the staff not trained to keep their word?

I was told the esthetician would assess my skin during the basic facial. Not one word was uttered. She was kind, smiled a lot, but said nothing other than to ask what fragrances I liked.

Went with a few girlfriends yesterday for a quick getaway. Two of us had hundreds of dollars stolen from our wallets. This happened while we were in spa services from the locked lockers in the dressing room. The spa reception did not take this seriously and has been of minimal help. Be very careful if you plan to go here!!!

Family trip goes wrong!!! We had a terrible experience !!! Complete Rip Off!!! 7 of us arrived for our appt. at 3pm. We were put in a room to fill out forms . They gave us tea and towels.& took our shoes. Then they led us to the locker rooms to undress. This all took about 20 mins. All seemed fine until they proceeded to tell me we all would only get half a massage for the full price since we didn't arrive early enough. No mention of this was made during towel and tea time. When I objected they gave me the full massage and proceeded to give my daughters half the time. Needless to say Everyone was furious. No way I'm paying $$$$ plus for craziness .. ...
