Lincoln Park, historic and part of are National Parks Department, it is one of the largest parks in Capitol Hill. Bring the kids who are learning how to ride their bicycles. Bring the dogs who meet regularly every morning and every evening after 5 p.m. Bring the strollers. Bring the nannies, bring the visitors, bring your children, bring your spouses, bring your friends. This is clearly a neighborhood park that is open and welcomed everyone all year round.

Lincoln Park is a wonderful and large park in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. It's always lively with folks from the neighborhood and there's so much lovely and well-tended green space it never feels crowded. There are designated fenced in playgrounds for small children and a rectangular field where many people let their dogs loose. My partner also loves to run here as two laps in the track around the park is a mile almost exactly.
Lincoln Park is a great place to let the kids play and run some laps. The playgrounds are fenced off for easy kid control and seem reasonably well designed.
