So after your done seeing the Lincoln Memorial. Take a 5 minute walk, over by the food stand and where all those tour buses line up, and see this memorial dedicated to the Korean War. I appreciated this for 2 reasons. First was the art involved in the "infantry Squad" approach of walking through the Jungle. Each statue has such detail. The second reason is I spent some time on the DMZ helping defend South Koreans.
The symbolism is great. First time seeing it and was impressed with the overall design. Love the pictures etched in the wall.

Really enjoyed the visit. Seen it both at night via Big Bus Night Tour and during the day. Very well done. Moving tribute.
I thought this monument was fascinating. They way in which these men are arranged, appear real and I can vividly imagine these heroic men in the landscape fighting. Great tribute.
