The waterfront is a great place for walking and has a lot of decent selection of restaurants. There are plenty of locations about the waterfront that allow for people watching and dog walking. The walkways are well lit and are in open areas which lend to a safe environment. The grounds are relatively clean as well.
I love this park. I am lucky enough to work across the street from it, and I try to visit and walk through here daily. The views are absolutely amazing!
A fun, open and relaxing place to be. The scenery is nice and you can enjoy the water views from almost anywhere along the area. Also great for people watching and enjoying a lunch break. It may get pretty hot during the summer and there isn't much shade around, but then it'll be great for tanning.
Very small and quaint. Very pretty homes are near by as well. Its like a block of Charleston was moved there. Worth a stop if you're heading that way.
Beautiful park right on the water! Throughout the year they do a number of pop-up events, free fitness classes and an outdoor film series in the summer. It's a great place for a leisurely walk or picnic that's still close to any amenities you might need. Don't miss sunset from the western end of the park for the best views!
