Very nice staff, they are very friendly. The food is ad you'd expect at any shake shack, in other words, great. Benefits in this location are ample place to sit down. Compared to other locations, this one has many seating locations. Additionally, location is key, very well located. All in all, great Shake Shack location.
I hate to do this to Shake Shack, because I love this place so much, but I had a crappy experience at this location. I very clearly stated two times that I would like a plain cheeseburger with just pickles and ketchup. When my order came out there was no cheese on my burger. I told the lady who took my order this and she said "you ordered a plain burger and that's what you got." I said I ordered a plain cheeseburger. She then continued to argue with me and then just left the pick up area. She didn't say what to do next so I took my tray and went back to give my husband his part of the order. I go back up to the front and she looks at me and says "I'm gonna need that burger back". I had already touched it and she never told me what to do with it, so how am I supposed to know. I then get my cheeseburger handed to me with an attitude. All this to say, I know it's a small error, but there is no Shake Shack where I live so I look forward to getting to experience them while traveling. They need to work on their customer service!!! Once my order was correct, the food was delicious as always.
First time in DC and wanted to try a place to eat and came here. The biggest reason I give this place two stars is due to price. I got a single burger, fries, and a small drink for about $15. The wait time was kind of long. *Nothing to bad about five to seven minutes* the food was very tasty. However for $15 it was not worth the price. The friends I went with got two burgers, ice cream, and a drink for $22 and it looked like they had less food than I had. The food here is very yummy indeed. However the amount of food you get for the price is very poor. Great place to come if you have the money to spend and want some tasty food. If you are on a budget or want more food for a better price I would try somewhere else. Will most likely not be back to this place unless prices are dropped a little.
Great spot for burgers. Service is usually quick even with long lines they get you through fast. The highlight of this place is definitely the custard though. Good old fashioned custard not the typical frozen mix soft serve that most places try to call frozen custard.
Food was wonderful! Typical Shake Shack amazingness. Staff was also friendly and service was quick. Restaurant cleanliness was very subpar. The floor was greasy and dirty. Tables and chairs were not clean and messy. The condiment station was also dirty and unorganized. We went at the end of the day on a holiday and I understand they may be short staffed. This isn’t typical Shake Shack and will be noticed by the loyal customers.
