Anthony Williams and two other officials came out today to inspect my unit with one resident staff. What left me puzzled was the fact that they didn't have the proper equipment to inspect other than their eyes. Even though they noticed a pest in the utility closet - no one wanted to discard it. I hope the findings are not left up to a double standard scenario. For once, mention by the Mayor logo - a safer and stronger DC to include those with disabilities.
Each time I go there, the personnel are friendly, professional and willing to go beyond to help. Reading the other reviews, DCRA must have reset! Keep getting better.
Went to the DCRA office yesterday (for the first time) to get an answer to a question I had about the building code. Had super low expectations given reviews, etc. but honestly, everyone was totally pleasant and helpful. Didn't know where to go when I got there, but they made it super simple. Only waited ~15 min after getting my ticket to talk to someone at a desk. Turns out I was sent to the wrong person for my specific question but instead of having to wait again, he just pulled a coworker over who answered my question, and took me to her desk where she explained everything further/gave me the documentation I needed. All in all, pretty surprisingly positive experience.
i would give them a ZERO or even a NEGATIVE if it would allow... i can't name even ONE single individual who walks in there to do an average job... they are lazy, untrained, unenthusiastic, not willing to help, no knowledge of the department they represent ...
And don't even think about coming if you don't have all of the documentation you need because it is only gonna warrant another trip back.
it is a total waste to drive up and pay for parking only to sit there and waste your WHOLE day! one of the places on this earth where you need a drink, s bath, exercise, joint or therapy after your visit! A TOTAL WASTE OF TAX PAYERS MONEY!!
There are consistently 10-15 open stations without employees every time I visit. The staff is helpful when you finally get to them after a 3+ hour wait.
a bunch of jokers who have ZERO regards to time and service... they toss you up and down from one queue to the other just to end up where you started with no DIRECTION!
