They have awesome specialty items. I called over 15 wine and spirit stores but they were the ONLY one who carried Scrappy's Bitters in lavender and cardamom! Great customer service.
Ventral Liquor was once a great place for liquor in DC...now...they are overpriced. I was looking for the whiskey & absinthe for Sazerac cocktails. The prices for both were higher than in Virginia at the ABC stores.
Only 3 stars because their selection is limited
Central Liquor is great for me. They don't have the biggest selection but they have the right selection for me. Plenty of good bourbons and La Pinta pomegranate infused tequila which is a personal favorite.
