A little over a year ago my grandmother was sent to bridge point to help her get off of the ventilator. A year and seven months later and she is still on the ventilator. The beginning of the process was great. She was on the second floor in hospital and they were amazing. After about three months she was moved to the third floor nursing home/rehabilitation centre. It has been a nightmare since. She has contracted infection after infection. The patients are forced to sit in their faeces and urine all day. In July 2017 my grandmother requested to be sent to the hospital because she was having a hard time breathing. The nurse on duty denied her from going to the emergency room. The next morning the nurse for morning shift immediately call 911 to have her rested to the hospital where she was diagnosed with pneumonia. The list goes on and on. Unfortunately there’s not many facilities that can accommodate her needs so we are stuck with bridge point for now

My daughter was recently admitted to the facility for short term but while there she was treated exceptionally good as They have a term schedule for bedridden patients the facility is exceptionally clean the staff is polite hopefully I will be able to get my daughter transferred to the nursing part that they have they even have a cafeteria that you may purchase food and snacks I truly like the facility
