They try! They are more crazy than the patients. They make me sick. I tolerate them because it's a teaching hospital so I'm learning while they learn. I usually don't have problems out of some staff members but it's one name Imani Baines, about as dumb as a brick. Lazy old b. It's not my fault they chose the mental health field. Yes I'm putting them on blast. Terrible. Please Directors, get them some training on customer service. And then it's sad that they don't even have air condition in the building. BE AWARE!

After several phone calls finally got through to someone to approve an prescription from cvs pharmacy for my brother only to. E told that they changed his prescription dosage without discussing it with my mother, his care giver, so my brother is without his proper medication. This was a result of prior doctor not documenting system and we are the ones that had to pay for their in efficiency and error. My mother who is still recovering from massive surgery and cancer scare had a huge amount of stress dealing with this clinic. When you are dealing with patients with mental health issues Howard really needs to take a closer look at who they have working for them and MUST hire the Staff that's better equipped to deal with these type of situations. Why on earth would you change someone's medication without discussing or clearing it with caregiver??! Why on earth would you. It approve a refill of a medication with dosage that he's been taking for year??! And leave us without after we advised that the lower dosage has proven to have serious consequences and rendered horrid results which again should have been documented by prior doctor who prescribed. I am beyond disgusted with the service I received here and truly hope no one else has to endure what my family had to.

The way they treat their patients can't be legal. Over the course of a month, when I've tried to call and ask for a refill of my prescription, they either 1) hang up on me 2) transfer me to a line that rings endlessly. They're fully aware I need my prescription to function normally, they just don't care. Emails and calls explaining my situation were simply ignored. The receptionists at the front desk were extremely dismissive of me and patronizing. There's absolutely no accountability. The negligence and disregard for their patients' health is unbelievable. I was luckily able to see a psychiatrist in time to fill my prescription before I ran out, but I know not everyone would be able to do that. Besides not getting my prescription, the amount of stress I was placed under for trying to get a hold of a doctor on the phone for several hours over several days was unbearable for someone already dealing with mental health issues. It's been three months and my doctor has never followed up with me or attempted to get in contact with me. For your own health and safety, avoid this place.
