Great bakery working with whole grains. They mill everything themselves and work by hand so get there early for the bread as it tends to sell out and they can only produce so much. Everyone there is clearly working really hard to make great products. Everyone is super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely my go to for bread now. The pastries are great as well. Check out the wood fired oven and peak through the window to see the mill they use on site. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area. Worth a trip if you're not.
There's a reason why they run out of bread. It's that good!! They are a newer bakery and I assume they didn't know the demand for amazing bread would be in the neighborhood. I'm so happy they opened. Their bread and pastries are amazing!! I'm looking forward to many more trips here!

This place opened today with full hours. Much anticipated, it surpassed all expectations. The scones were divine. Bread came out at 1pm. So good! The bakers are very kind and love to talk about their work and products.
Excited to see a bakery that sources great ingredients in D.C. and making great bread. Only 2nd day open and everything was amazing. They are just getting started so get here early for the bread. I was told it comes out around 1pm, but the pastries were just as good.
