Great coffee and pastry. Even though I requested to eat there my pastry was packaged in a plastic shell and coffee in a disposable cup. That was a bit disappointing.
This local bakery is staple of Dupont Circle. It shows that in a commercialized world again power house coffee house with the mermaid independent shops can still survive. I'd rather go here anyway. The variety of baked good and coffee. Friendly neighborhood service. The adjacent restaurant is a popular brunch place. You'll see people milling around waiting. While it doesn't have a lot of seating, on a nice day there is plenty in the park right up the street.
This is a favorite place for me when I am in the mood for sweets. Their pastries are divine. The staff is always pleasant and efficient. I visit here frequently.
This is a terrific, quaint bakery with friendly staff, great service, and absolutely delicious pastries and baked goods. Everything is fresh and in variety. The coffee is also delicious! Definitely a fast favorite spot of mine in the area.
Came across this place and absolutely love it. Amazing currant bar, key lime pie tart, and croissants (have had all three). Will try the sugar cookies next! Prices are average, service is variable, but baked goods are excellent.
