Outrages like everybody has said. Just sad. The definition of extortion. The museum is huge and you can't bring any food or water! There are no restaurants anywhere close to it. The price for a salad is by the pound mine was $20. I could have had a steak instead! Very definition of extortion. Criminal. Just criminal.
Worst restaurant ever. Dont ever come here, just go on the street. A dried up old hot dog on a stale broken bun is 7.50. You can't buy anythingworthwhile. The only good edible things in here are the broken dipping dots machine and water, and even thats subpar.
This place is terrible. The food was awful and outrageously overpriced I realise it's a cafe in a museum but come on it needs to be somewhat decent. The staff were unfriendly.
It is a nice option for those who like to spend hours at the Smithsonian museums. Overpriced, but there is a wide variety of food options. Also, it is a huge space with free wi-fi, and water to fill your bottles.
Perfect place to eat lunch. Has everything, a grille, pizza section, and a meat section. You can find little snacks and drinks in the middle as well. Food tasted pretty good but nothing fancy. Great place and conveniently located on the lower level of the American History Museum. For three people in my party it costed $33, yes it’s over priced, but your in D.C and for one, your in a museum cafe so know what your getting into. Dippin Dots machine is located greatly as well. Make sure to put your trey on the machine of treys, it’s pretty cool! You might want to stop around for a bite since there is no real restaurant in the area. Kids will need to get on the simulators, have a few extra dollars for that since it’s a must! Expensive food but museum entry is FREE! So it’s kinda like a mini contribution. Have fun at your time in Dc.
