My favorite brunch place in this area by far! I love a simple menu that delivers every time and the make your own scramble/omelette option is perfect ! In addition, they have one of the best deals for bottomless cocktails. We tried the poinsettia (cranberry and champagne) along with the traditional mimosa, and loved both! Also- they have an unlimited fruit bar that comes with every entree. This is my go to for out of town guests and certainly will be back here many many more times .The atmosphere and staff is friendly and super casual! Love!
Perhaps not the best food, but love brunch here. Never a wait, indoor & outdoor seating, a standard brunch menu...not to mention a fruit buffet and bottomless mimosas (or poinsettias...bubbly with cranberry juice!). Nothing fancy, but easy.
We recently went to Scion over Easter weekend and we had a great time. The staff went out of their way to accommodate a very large party (21 people with lots of boisterous kids!) in what effectively was a private room. The server Lucas had the patience of a saint, and everyone who worked there was friendly and helpful. The beer menu was phenomenal and there was something for everyone's appetite on the dinner menu, not an easy thing with our crew. Although our size wouldn't have allowed us to sit there, the sidewalk tables looked like a nice place for a date night. Thanks for having us!
My wife and I held our rehearsal dinner at Scion, and it was perfect! Joanne was incredibly easy to deals with and even customized the food offerings (which were delicious!) given our preferences. In addition, I'm a big craft beer fan and Joanne put together quite the selection. The space is quite conducive to private events and the cost is the most reasonable we were able to find in the downtown DC area. In addition, the staff at Scion was polite, helpful, and true professionals the whole night. Whether you are hosting an event or just looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite or drink, Scion is the perfect place!
The food was okay, a little spicy for my taste. The wait staff was great, and always made sure we had everything we needed. They were very accommodating for our party of 5, with no reservation. The staff was very willing to substitute the shrimp in my dish with chicken instead.
