Beautiful venue. Acoustics were very good. Bottled water was a reasonable price, about $1.50.
Not a bad place to go see a show. Best to gamble on Metro to get there, since parking is always an issue in this area. It's an older theater but good sightlines, seats are relatively comfortable, and bathrooms are clean if a bit small. Ben's Chili Bowl is right next door so you can get something to eat before the show. I've only been when seats were general admission, but have never had a bad seat.
This place is okay, but I'm not a fan of general admission. Within the last 3 months I've been to two different shows at the Lincoln, one with reserved seating and one with general admission. I'm not sure why they can't just offer reserved seating for everything, it is less stressful. Be prepared to find parking, which could be a few blocks away. Tons of places to eat around the Lincoln.
It's just ok if you are in the upper balcony. Actually, we had to leave because we could not see the drag show at all, except the upper runway on the stage, barely. And it was hot way up there. Makes me very angry at Goldstar! This is a huge venue. Expensive drinks. $4 popcorn, small bag. Parking is really hard.
Such a fun venue. The drink staff was on point. A larger snack food selection would earn a 5 star.
