Dr. Race and the staff at Alliance are very professional and caring. Every time I come in I feel well cared for. They take more than ample time to ask questions before treatment, and don't have a one-size-fits-all approach. Their care is very uniquely crafted to meet each individual case and injury. I never feel rushed and they are very accommodating to work in conjunction with other physicians. Their top concern is patient care and healing.
If you are ever in need of physical therapy, I would strongly urge you to consider going to Alliance Physical Therapy at Washington Circle. I attended this location for over a year and a half due to a severe accident that required a lengthy and painful healing process. The staff were upfront and honest with me from the first days and incredibly knowledgeable and friendly throughout the healing process. The therapists and aides are all caring, attentive, and, in my opinion, quite funny (though I wouldn't recommend encouraging Andrew or Marc). Though I was happy to have been rehabilitated, I can honestly say that I was more than a little disappointed that I wasn't going to be able to see the wonderful staff at Alliance anymore. If you should need Physical Therapy for whatever reason, I cannot recommend Alliance Physical Therapy enough.
Bianca did a careful assessment and narrowed down my problem despite my pain being referred to other areas and not having any imaging done at the time.
Let me tell you about these people. And by these people i mean Lisa, Autumn, Michael, Bianca, Andrew, Mark 1, Mark 2, Roxana and Dr.K (chiropractor) they were firstly experts and professionals in their work and secondly presented a comfortable and relaxed environment for all their patients. They were like my second family for the 3/4 months i was there. What really makes them stand apart is that i felt like a co-conspirator in the process of my treatment program. They always asked me what worked, gave their recommendations and checked how i felt after. When i had suggestions they listened and incorporated it or told me why not. They answered everyone one of my questions regarding the exercises and gave the purpose of each. And what's best is i walked in there hurting and broke down and left renewed and better than I've felt in years. Their combination of manual hands-on therapy, exercises(done by you) , mechanical equipment, chiropractor(for me), CARE and home exercises after treatmemt gave me my life back and i could not be more grateful to the them. All of them. So needlessly to say they are definitely where you want to be if you want to start feeling better. Thanks guys!
I don't remember the names of the therapists that helped, but both of them were outstanding. I had been bothered by a lower back pain. Gradually, the pain had increased to the extent I was walking around like a question mark. The two therapists put me on a regiment of stretches that worked. Within two months, the pain had decreased to the point I was walking around like an exclamation point. Both therapists were personable and excellent communicators.
